Harry Potter TIIIIME

  • Mood: Excited
  • Watching: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Eating: Ramen
  • Drinking: Apple Juice
I'm going to the midnight release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince tomorrow night! YES! I'm really excited because I've never actually been to a midnight showing before, and this was my favorite book of the lot.

I recently got my hair cut SUPER short and I'm going as Tonks! I'm going to don a punk outfit (my sweetheart boyfriend who likes that whole shitty original punk scene is going to help me there) and TRY to temporarily don some pink hair as well! I'd like some recommendations for any type of spray I could use or even things to avoid ASAP! =) Also, if anybody wants to see my new hair who isn't friends with me on Facebook, I'll gladly upload something. (I probably wanted a new ID anyway). And I might upload some pictures of my outfit if it turns out alright. IF ONLY I had a Weird Sisters tee, eh?

It's weird going from a long hippie cut to what I have now. It's pretty much Kiara Knightley's cut in Domino-- not that I bothered to see that movie. What I DID bother to see was her lapdance scene... ;P Youtube that.

LET'S TALK HARRY POTTER! Who else is gonna see it soon?!

I'M SEEING IT TOMORROW NIGHT AT MIDNIGHT. FUCK YEAH AM I EVER. Oh man I'm SO EXCITED. But unfortunately no midnight release can ever be as awesome as Phoenix, unfortunately, since I saw Harry and the Potters in concert and then went to the same theatre they did for the movie. That was insanely bitchin', man. So nothing can beat that.
DUDE. SILKSCREEN A WEIRD SISTERS TEE. YOU CAN DO IT. Just like, draw a quick illustration, scan it in, then print it out on the silkscreen and iron it on. That would be INSAAAAAAAANE or something. Right? Right.
Unfortunately I don't know a thing about hair color-spray-stuff so I can't help you there. But man oh man am I off to see that lapdance. Best believe it bro.

S: Is that a wand in your pocket?
G: That's m'wand, yep.
S: Okay, because last time it wasn't.

And i hope you post your outfit! It sounds awesome

Those Halloween party sprays from Jerome Russell (B*WILD, I think?) would probably be less fail on short hair than they are on mine, but I dunno how short your hair is. *has not youtubed as per your instructions just yet*

Also, I second the suggestion of making your own Weird Sisters t-shirt. It could be so awesome!

I am stoked for this movie too! I may have to reprise my Luna Lovegood "costume" (read: Assortment of strange items in my closet).

Every morning upon awakening, I experience a supreme pleasure: that of being Salvador Dalí, and I ask myself, wonderstruck, what prodigious thing will he do today, this Salvador Dalí.

Oh really? I think it's my favorite one of the lot, actually. Any specifics that really bothered you?

We all go a little mad sometimes.
:icondamianagalangal:
It was not very close to how the book went haha. I could list dozens of things I didn't like about it :/ My sister and I were pretty appalled the entire time we were watching it. I didn't think I could dislike an HP movie as much as I disliked the 5th one, but this one took the cake. It was pretty boring to boot :(
